Penn Yan falls in state semifinals


ROCHESTER—The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team ended the season at the state semifinals, Wednesday, June 5, against Cazenovia.


The final score was 8-7, Cazenovia. Ryan Maciejewski and Bradley Voigt both led with two points each. Andrew Perl, Rion Davison, and Austin Fingar each scored once.


Penn Yan was down 8-4, but scored three times consecutively to come within one point of tying by the end of the game. With the loss, the Mustangs' record is 15-5.
