Penn Yan girls lose in finale

ROCHESTER–The Penn Yan girls varsity softball team lost to Wayland-Cohocton in the Class B championship game, Thursday, May 29 at Monroe Community College. The final score was 22-5. Coming into the game Penn Yan was the number one seed with a 16-4 record, while Wayland was number two at 18-4. The Lady Mustangs end the season at 16-5.
