Penn Yan girls lose to Watertown, 6-5

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan girls varsity lacrosse team fell to Watertown, 6-5, in a home game, Saturday, May 8.
"We played awful," said Coach Pat Queener.  She added, "We've had a good season, but this is not how we want to play."  The lacrosse team is now 10-3 in the season with this loss.
Sam Sisson led the Mustangs with two goals and one assist.  Courtney Hey, Morgan Basler, and Brooke Wickham also had one goal each.  Goalie Meg Hopkins had six saves.
The lacrosse team plays next at Irondequoit, May 11.
