Penn Yan lacrosse falls to Lakeland

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team lost to Lakeland-Panas in an away game, Tuesday, April 20.
The final score was 8-6.  Coach Brian Hobart explained that the Mustangs managed to tie Lakeland at 6-6, with 6:54 left in the game.  However, during that time Lakeland scored two more goals and kept Penn Yan from scoring again.
Nate Nichols led the Mustangs with two goals and three assists.  Dylan Yonts had one assist.  Bradley Voigt scored two goals.  Adam Trombley also had one goal and one assist.  In the goal, Cody Richardson had 11 saves for Penn Yan.
