PENN YAN--The Penn Yan Academy Drama Club will present Tuck Everlasting at four showings this week. Thursday, Friday and Saturday feature an evening performance at 7 p.m. and there is a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
When Winnie Foster (junior, Genna Elliott) discovers the magical secret of the Tuck family, Angus (junior, Collin Cummings), Mae (junior, Cami Webber), Miles (senior, Paul H. Gaston) and Jesse (senior, Noah Detar), she embarks on an extraordinary adventure that will change her life forever.
Take a journey you'll never forget in this musical about love, family and living life to the fullest.
The production also features Owen McFarland (senior) as the Man in the Yellow Suit, Jacob Eskildsen (junior) as Hugo, Spencer Christensen (senior) as Constable Joe, McKelvie Jensen (junior) as Mother, Riley Dallos (sophomore) as Nana. There is also a singing and dancing ensemble including Lexi Strong, Amelia LeVea, Grace Worth, Jayden Hollister, Jenna Compton, Jeremy Fenton, Kaley Griffin, Keuka Miranda-Wiltberger, Lauren Schilling, Leni Ochoa, Maddie Flynn, Maddie Martini, Mary Gulick, Massan Jensen, Meredith Hanley and Sam Trank.
In addition to the academy performers, there is also a youth chorus from Penn Yan Elementary School, St. Mike's and Penn Yan Middle School: Heather Brown, Juliet Chaffee, Nathaniel Chaffee, Evey Cobb, Ivana Espana-Giron, Ruth Franklin, Charlotte Kinsey, Ella Kinsey, Ryen Morse, Taylor Morse, Meggie Pratt, Porter Reynolds, Brisco Smith and Eva Smith.
Based on the best-selling, award-winning novel by Natalie Babbitt, this is a story for all ages that spans the ages. Tickets are $9 for adults and $8 for students or seniors.
