Penn Yan presents "A Wrinkle in Time"

The Penn Yan Academy Drama Club will present "A Wrinkle in Time" this weekend at the academy auditorium. Shows run Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.
"A Wrinkle in Time" has been adapted from the Madeleine L'Engle novel by James Sie.
Meg and Charles Wallace have been without their scientist father for a number of years after he discovers the tesseract and travels through time and space. With their friend, Calvin, they set out on an epic adventure. Guided along the way by "the Mrs.", three characters who guide them on their journey to other planets to fight the dark thing and bring their father home.
This production features Riley Dallos (Meg), Massan Jensen (Charles Wallace), Jacob Eskildsen (Calvin), Natasha Rivers (Mrs. Whatsit), Jenna Compton (Mrs. Which), Meredith Hanley (Mrs. Who), McKelvie Jensen (Mother), Collin Cummings (Father), Owen McFarland (Happy Medium), Amelia LeVea (Aunt Beast), Paul H. Gaston (Red Eyes) and Sam Trank, Mary Gulick, Lee Miller, Violet McCarley, Lenny Ochoa and Roshanna Brewer (Ensemble). The play will also feature original music by Paul H. Gaston.
Tickets are available at Longs' Cards and Books, Milly's Pantry, Pinckney Hardware, online at http://pyadramaclub.seatyourself.biz or at the door. Pre-sale tickets are $8 for students or seniors and $9 for adults. Prices increase a dollar at the door.
