Penn Yan takes down Geneva, 7-4

WATERLOO—The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team will compete in for the sectional title, after defeating Geneva, Tuesday, June 1.
The final score was 7-4.  Penn Yan was the second seed for Class C, while Geneva was number three.  Halfway through the game, the Mustangs' defense shut down Geneva's scoring.  Penn Yan scored five of its goals in just over 30 minutes.
Nate Nichols led Penn Yan with three goals.  Adam Stork and Adam Trombley each had two goals.  Dylan Yonts and Bradley Voigt had one goal each.  Yonts also had one assist.  In the goal, Cody Richardson had five saves.
The Mustangs play against  Aquinas, Friday, June 4 at St. John Fisher for the sectional championship.
