Penn Yan tops Geneva, 14-3

PENN YAN-The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team improved to a 1-1 record by beating Geneva, 14-3, Friday April 3.
Ben Covert led with five goals, while Sean Emerson scored three goals and had two assists. Craig Gerhardt also had two goals and one assist.
Other scoring included: Austin Fingar, one goal and two assists; Tate Stewart, one goal and one assist; Casey Marsh, one goal and one assist; Connor Fingar, one goal; and Ben Emerson, one assist.
In the goal, Gage Ponsetti had six saves.
