Penn Yan track hosts home meet

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan girls varsity track team placed second out of five schools at a home meet, Tuesday, May 14. The boys finished in third place overall.
Heather Anderson won first in the 400 meter dash (1:02.34), first in the 200 meter dash (26.34), and first in the high jump. In the 400 meter hurdles, Hannah Gaston took second (1:19.74), while Evelynn Pinneo was fourth (1:28.34). Pinneo was also first in the 3,000 meter run (12:18.44) and second in the 1,500 meter run (5:41.34). Gaston won third in the triple jump.
Sabrina Parsons placed fourth in the 100 meter dash (14.44). Leah Van Son took third in the 800 meter run (2:44.14). Lydia Andersen finished fifth in the 200 meter dash (30.54) and fifth in the long jump. Jenn Moss was fifth in the 3,000 meter run (15:30.74).
For the boys, John Drozda was fourth in the triple jump. Gregory Neuberger won fourth in the 400 meter hurdles (1:07.74) and fifth in the 110 meter hurdles (20.14). Keenan Notebaert took fifth in the 3,200 meter run (11:42.94).
