Peter Pan will be flying this weekend

WATKINS GLEN--The Lake Country Players will present Peter Pan Jr., Friday, June 15, Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17. There are two casts that will split the performances. Friday features a 7:30 p.m. show, Saturday has two shows at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday has a matinee at 2 p.m.
This is the first time in the Lake Country Players' 41 year history that the main characters will actually fly with special harnesses. The company ZFX Flying Effects arrived at the Watkins Glen high school auditorium from Louisville, Kentucky to help with the rigging to make the flights possible. Extra practices will help to master the effects for the show which features 92 students.
Tickets for the shows will be available at the door and seating will be first come, first seated. Kim Laursen and Kelsey Johnson are directing the production. Prices are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Those under age 5 are free.
