PHOTO GALLERY: Grand Prix Festival races through WatkinsWATKINS GLEN-The Grand Prix Festival of Watkins Glen turned the village into the classic race course, Friday, Sept. 5. Fans of both modern and vintage cars had a number of locations throughout the village to see historic, racing and road cars from countless manufactures. This year's featured marque automobile was the MG. After a day of activities, all eyes were on the cars of the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association who drove around the original 6.6-mile race circuit that begins and ends in front of the Schuyler County Courthouse. The day concluded with fireworks. |
