PENN YAN (12/5/15)-The village of Penn Yan celebrated the holiday season with the annual StarShine event, Friday, Dec. 4. Main Street in the village was closed to traffic as holiday treats, music, horse drawn carriage rides and visits with Santa were available for those that attended. The event concluded with the Miss Penn Yan program where Natalie Colon was named Miss Penn Yan. The first runner-up was Elizabeth Morgan and Sydney Gifford was the second runner-up.
