Sahlen's weekend begins

WATKINS GLEN—Watkins Glen International began the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen weekend activities on Friday, June 29 as the Continental Tire and Rolex Sports Car classes took to the track for qualifying and practice sessions respectfully. Tonis Kasemets led qualifying for Saturday’s Continental Tire 150, Sylvain Tremblay captured the pole in the Street Tuner class and Alex Gurney in the No. 99 GAINSCO Auto Insurance Corvette had the quickest practice lap. 


A schedule for the rest of the weekend includes:
Saturday, June 30

7:00am – 9:00am          Coffee and donuts with WGI President Michael Printup
9:00am – 9:30am          Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Practice
9:40am – 10:10am        Rolex Sports Car Series Practice Combined

11:40am - 11:55am      Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype Qualifying
