Scots beat Red Jacket, 51-48

DUNDEE—The Dundee boys varsity basketball team beat Red Jacket, 51-48, in a close game, Tuesday, Jan. 19.
With one minute left in the game, Dundee was ahead by one point.  Joe Tortolon scored two free throws to give the Scots a three point lead, but Red Jacket responded by scoring another basket.
However, Dundee maintained the 49-48 lead, through most of that last minute with Red Jacket in possession of the ball.  Dundee managed to take back the ball with 4.7 seconds left on the clock and with Tortolon scoring two more free throw shots.
Garrick Conyers scored the most for Dundee with 20 points.  He had three three-point shots and was seven for seven at the free throw line.  Tortolon was next with 11 points.  Dustin Warren had eight points, including two three-point shots.
The Scots play next at Naples, Jan. 21.
