DUNDEE—Dundee's boys basketball team lost to Red Jacket with seconds left on the clock, Friday, Jan. 14.
The final score was 50-49. In the last minute, Red Jacket led 48-47. However, Dundee's Max Gorton scored a basket putting the Scots in the lead. Red Jacket retaliated with another two points of their own. In the last 16 seconds that followed, Dundee fought to win but were held at bay. Garrick Conyers had the most points for Dundee with 19 points. Kyle Woodard was next with 10. Joe Tortolon had a total of seven points. Aksel Jensen and Gorton each contributed four points. Kyle Spinks had three and Cody Gilbert had two. The Scots were 9-for-11 at the free throw line. With the loss, Dundee is 6-3 this season.
