Scots take wins in first home games

DUNDEE—The Dundee varsity baseball and softball teams took down Harley Allendale Columbia, in their first home games of the season, Thursday, April 8.
The baseball team's final score was 10-6.
Tommy Pratt and Garrick Conyers were 2-for-4.  Pratt also have two RBIs and a double.  Kyle Spinks was 2-for-3, and had three RBIs.  Shea Maloy was also 2-for-3, with two RBIs and a double.  Joe Tortolon scored a double in the sixth inning, resulting in three RBIs.  Dustyn Thompson had the most saves for the Scots and Lynk Hoffman was the winning pitcher.
The boys are now 2-0 for the season.
The softball team won, 12-7.  Six of the hits belonged to Sami Clingerman and Rashana Gee, with three each.  Clingerman also had three RBIs.  Casi Strait had a triple in the first inning.  In the Sixth inning, Megan Wojcinski had a RBI double.  This was the first full varsity game for Renee Thomas as pitcher.  She had two strike-outs and one walk.
The softball team is now 1-1 for the season.
