Seneca Indians lose to Newark Valley

ODESSA-The Seneca Indians varsity baseball team was defeated by Newark Valley, 1-0, Thursday, April 7.
Mitch Scata pitched for four innings, earning seven strikeouts, and allowing four hits and one earned run. Josh Updike threw in relief for three innings and had five strikeouts and allowed one hit.
At bat, Joel Kelly had two hits, while Updike tripled in the first. Alex Grady doubled and Chris Foote singled.
With the loss, the Seneca Indians' record is 1-1.
