Castellaneta takes 10th at state championship
ITHACA--Watkins Glen's Lexi Castellaneta placed 10th at the New York State Diving Championships, Friday, Nov. 17.
This was Castellaneta's top finish in her fourth state competition. She had scores of 206.40 in the prelims, 331.40 in the semis and 459.40 in the finals. Danielle Scarano of Newburgh Free Academy won with a 495.80 in the finals at Ithaca College.
Castellaneta currently holds the six dive and 11 dive records for a Watkins Glen student, all divers at the Watkins Glen pool and in Section IV.
