SCHUYLER COUNTY

State of Emergency lifted in Schuyler

SCHUYLER COUNTY--The following statement was issued by Schuyler County Sheriff William E. Yessman Jr.:
"The State of Emergency regarding travel in Schuyler County will be lifted at 5:00 AM Monday morning. Most major roads are open and passable, but some secondary roads especially in the Town's of Catharine, Reading and Tyrone remain closed. Please do not drive around barricades or traffic cones. There is also a boater's advisory on all lakes within Schuyler County due to high water levels and floating debris until further notice."

Watkins Glen school is closed Monday, June 15. Odessa-Montour is on a two-hour delay.
