Village approves Farmer's Market again

WATKINS GLEN—The Watkins Glen village board met briefly Monday evening, March 21, and approved several regular business items.
Gregory Coon, trustee and deputy mayor, conducted the meeting with Judy Phillips out-of-town.
The board approved the Farmer’s Market to conduct business on Fridays between May 27 and Oct. 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lafayette Park.
Saturday, May 7, will be the Village Dumpster Day. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the parking lot of the Community Center. Village residents are encouraged to bring their unneeded items, like mattresses, appliances, and other household clutter. The items that will not be accepted include: hazardous materials, construction site material, and clothing.
The next regular village board meeting will be April 4 at 7 p.m. in the conference room of the Schuyler County Shared Services Building, 910 S. Decatur St. in Watkins Glen.
