Voters will decide trustees next Tuesday

MONTOUR FALLS, ODESSA—The villages of Montour Falls and Odessa will be holding their village elections this Tuesday, March 18. In Montour Falls, There are two open positions on the ballot, including one four-year trustee term and one four-year village justice term. Residents can vote at the Montour Falls village hall located at 408 West Main St. between the times of noon and 9 p.m.
The only contested election has two candidates running for the single four-year trustee seat. Philip J. Smith is running as a member of the Republican Party, while James P. Ryan is running as a member of the Vigilant Leadership Party. For the village justice position, Donald R. Spaccio is running unopposed. Spaccio is running as a member of the Listening Party. The position is also for a four-year term.
The village of Odessa will also be holding their elections from noon to 9 p.m. March 18. The polling location will be the village municipal building at 300 East Main St. There are two available two-year trustee seats open for the two candidates. Sally Hill and Thomas Letteer Jr. are running for the available seats.
