WATKINS GLEN-The Watkins Glen girls varsity bowling team topped Tioga, 4-0, Thursday, Dec. 4. The Watkins boys lost, 4-0. Lucy Craig led with a 553, followed by Dakota Evans with 497 and Samantha Bradley with 463. Elizabeth Reed bowled a 450, while Liz Mason had a 449. Nikole VanDyke added 381. "Another good team effort, Lucy came up big today, and Dakota was solid as well," said Coach Ward Brower. "I'm very pleased with how well they are bowling this early in the season." Wyatt Brower scored a 445. Conlin Wysocki added 432 and Joe LaTorre 430. Rees Avery recorded 379. Nathaniel Rose bowled a 375 and Casen Weeden had 372. "We had some good individual games bowled by some of the guys, with maturity and consistency, they will surprise some teams s the season goes on," added Brower.
