WATKINS GLEN—The Senecas pulled out a win against Candor, Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The Watkins boys varsity basketball team won, 57-51.  Coach John Fazzary said Watkins had a 15 point lead in the third quarter at one point.  However, Candor knocked that down to within two points "at the end, but (Watkins) held on."
Stuart Cook scored 14 points, the most for the Senecas that night.  Travis Waite was next with 12 points.  Alec Moore scored 10.
Fazzary said overall, the Watkins team "wasn't very sharp," but it was good to win.
