WATKINS GLEN—International Speedway Corporation announced it has named Craig Rust, current president of Watkins Glen International, as president of Chicagoland Speedway effective June 15. In addition, the company announced Michael Printup will replace Rust as president of Watkins Glen International. Current Chicagoland President Matt Alexander will leave the Company to pursue other opportunities.
Rust has been president of Watkins Glen since April 2002, and helped build the famed road-course into one of ISC’s premier facilities. He has been involved in motorsports since 1996, holding a number of positions including Director of Sales and Marketing for Auto Club Speedway and president of the former Nazareth Speedway.
Printup will assume responsibility for all operations of Watkins Glen. He has held various positions within ISC over the last nine years including Vice President of Americrown Services Corp. and 380 Development LLC, wholly-owned subsidiaries of ISC. Most recently, Printup served as the Sr. Director, Facility Development for Michigan International Speedway.
