Webb makes All-Liberty League football team

GENEVA—Steve Webb, Dundee graduate and current Hobart College student, made the 2010 All-Liberty League first team.
Webb, freshman running back for Hobart, is one of 18 Statesmen to make the teams.  He rushed for 783 yards in nine games, averaging a league-high 5.5 yards per rush and scoring 14 rushing touchdowns.
He also caught eight passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. Against St. John Fisher, Webb became the first Hobart football player to have 100 yards rushing and receiving in the same game. He also averaged 22 yards per kickoff return, including a 90-yard touchdown return in the season opener against Dickinson. Webb led the league in scoring, finding the end zone six more times than any other player in the conference.
Hobart finished the season with a 5-4 record, including a 3-3 mark in the Liberty League. The Statesmen have produced a program record 14 consecutive winning seasons.
