Westbrook, Valiante win Sahlen's race

WATKINS GLEN-Richard Westbrook and Michael Valiante raced to victory in the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Sunday, June 28 at Watkins Glen International.
The No. 01 Ford EcoBoost DP of Scott Pruett and Joey Hand finished second. The No. 5 Mustang Sampling/Cedar Tree Corvette DP of Christian Fittipaldi and Joao Barbosa was third.


Other class winners included: the No. 17 Falken Tire Porsche 911 RSR of Bryan Sellers and Wolf Henzler (GTLM); No. 8 Starworks Motorsport ORECA FLM09 of Renger van der Zande, Mike Hedlund, and Alex Popow (PC); and the No. 93 ViperExchange.com Dodge Viper SRT of Al Carter, Cameron Lawrence, and Marc Goossens (GTD).
Rain throughout the race created difficult driving conditions, with numerous caution laps during the six hours including the race end.
