Will you see your favorite car at the show?

DUNDEE—Automotive enthusiasts have another event to look forward to already; the Dundee Show ‘n Go at Martini’s ShurFine is Wednesday, June 29.
Organizer Terrie Sautter said the car show is in its 11th year.  She added she is expecting around 100 cars to be featured.  Sautter said that includes at least four Alfa Romeos.
“I’m surprised we’ll be representing the Italian car company,” she said about the Romeo.
Sautter added the Dundee show attracts a broad selection of cars, motorcycles, and even restored tractors.  She said the event started 11 years ago when she and Alan Giles talked about holding an event in Dundee.  Sautter described the two of them as “car nuts.”  Penn Yan and Watkins Glen were holding car shows, so why not Dundee?  She said both of them finally decided to just hold an event.
The focus won’t just be on vehicles.  The car show will also provide music.  Local not-for-profit groups will sell food and snacks, while businesses will remain open.  Parking opens at 5:30 p.m.; early arrivals must park on the street until display parking starts at Martini’s ShurFine.
Sautter said preregistration is appreciated.  Donations are accepted as payment.  For more, e-mail or call 607-243-7845, and leave your name and town, and vehicle’s year, make and model.
