Windmill will open for the 27th season

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan Windmill Farm and Craft Market will be reopening for the season this Saturday, April 26. The market, located at 3900 Route 14A in Penn Yan, is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Windmill will be entering into its 27th year of operation.
“As usual there are a few changes everywhere,”  Windmill Manager Lauren Welch said. “We have had many changes in our building number four area and hope that everyone takes time to visit.”
The Windmill has some 200 shops and vendors and will be open Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Welch said the new vendors for the 2014 season include:
Knit n’ Knots—Marie Hanson–knitting and sewing.
Arnold Brigham—woodworker.
Oak Grove Woodworking—Samuel Zimmerman–furniture and woodworking.
Baby Cakes—Donna Henderson–cupcakes and cakes made from premium local ingredients.
Unforgettable Gifts—Janet Griffin–all merchandise with an alpaca theme or from alpacas.
The Pierogie Guy—Kelly Lewis–assorted frozen pierogies to take home and cook.
Winethings–Joe Illig—antiques and wine related merchandise.
Genundewah Uniforms—Jeff Blodgett–nursing and medical uniforms and shoes, medical instruments, duty uniforms and boots for EMS and fire providers.
Apartment 7L (formerly Sue’s Unique Boutique)—Mallory Morse–vintage clothing and accessories as well as handmade articles.
