Penn Yan softball falls in sectionals

PENN YAN-The Lady Mustangs varsity softball team fell to Hornell, 13-10, in the first round of the Class B1 sectionals, Tuesday, May 17.
Penn Yan was seeded eighth, while Hornell was ninth. Melanie Gleason and Ashley Owens both recorded three RBIs, while Sydney Gifford had one RBI.
