Gould, Chedzoy champions at Watson Invitational

WATKINS GLEN–The Watkins Glen varsity wrestling team hosted the Mike Watson Invitational wrestling tournament Friday, Jan. 10 and Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Watkins Glen field house. Three wrestlers made the finals for the Senecas including: Brandon Gould (113 pounds), Nicholas Cocola (152) and Ian Chedzoy (182). Gould and Chedzoy were victorious in their matches for first place finishes, while Cocola lost his final match for second place.
Odessa did not have any wrestlers in the finals but Joe Rorick (120) recorded a third place finish for the Indians in the tournament.
The overall team winner was Elmira.
