Senecas advance to sectional finals

WATKINS GLEN-Senecas' boys varsity basketball team beat Moravia, Wednesday, March 4. The final score was 51-46 in the sectional semifinal game.
Watkins, seeded number one, will face Newfield, seeded second, in the Class C Sectional championship, Saturday, March 7. Watkins Glen beat Newfield earlier this season 49-35.
Joe Palumbo led the Senecas with 15 points. Matt Estes added 14. Luke Flahive and Colin Gates both recorded eight. Keith Rekczis added four and Justin Duane two.
