Hammondsport volleyball tops Belfast

PRATTSBURGH-The Lakers' varsity volleyball team beat Belfast-Friendship, 25-8, 25-14, 25-13, in the first round of sectionals, Thursday, Oct. 27.
At the service line, Luise Greszkowiak had nine aces and Hannah Walruth added seven aces. Greszkowiak also led at the net with eight kills, while Julia Bennett earned five kills.
Hammondsport advances to the quarterfinals, Saturday, Oct. 29.
