Penn Yan-Dundee Football
The Penn Yan-Dundee football team lost to East Rochester/Gananda 42-14, Friday, Oct. 6.
No additional statistics were provided.
The team will play Attica/Alexander at Dundee this Saturday, Oct. 14. Kickoff is 1 p.m.

Dundee-Bradford
Boys Soccer
The Dundee-Bradford boys soccer team fell to Addison, 3-0, Friday, Oct. 6. The team defeated Honeoye, 4-1, Wednesday, Oct. 4. Gage Machuga scored two goals. Aiden Monell and Caleb Semans each had one. Ian Pavlina recorded three assists. Nate Kiskaden made one.

Girls Soccer
The Dundee-Bradford girls soccer team won against Canisteo-Greenwood/Jasper-Troupsburg, 3-0, Thursday, Oct. 5. Madison Hughes and Madalyn Knapp both had a goal and an assist. Kendall Parker had a goal and Bruna Crespo had an assist.  Adalyn Tham had a shutout in the goal.
The BraveScots also defeated Lima Christian, 6-0, Wednesday, Oct. 4. Parker had two goals and an assist. Hughes posted a goal and two assists. Korrin Yeoman, Meredith Doan and Riley Stinson each recorded a goal. Mikayla Pavlina Crespo and Marley McAvoy each had an assist. Tham again kept the opponent scoreless in the goal.  

Volleyball
The Dundee-Bradford volleyball team lost to Penn Yan, 3-0, Friday, Oct. 6. Mikayla Schoffner had six aces and two kills. McKenna Miller added three kills and Hannah Herrick posted six assists.
The team beat Honeoye, 3-0, Wednesday, Oct. 4. Schoffner recorded 10 aces and seven kills. Herrick had nine assists and Miller added five aces and five kills.
The BraveScots also won over Addison, 3-0, Monday, Oct. 2. Miller posted two aces, five digs, seven kills and two tips. Schoffner had seven aces and seven kills.

Cross Country
The Dundee-Bradford cross country team competed at Marcus Whitman, Saturday, Oct. 7. For the boys, Devon Grandall was 80th and Braedyn Fisher was 117th. In the girls race, Cheyanne Grandall was 27th and Olivia Wheeler took 54th.

Penn Yan
Boys Soccer
The Penn Yan boys soccer team won against Honeoye, Friday, Oct. 6. The final score was 1-0. Spencer Enos had the goal and Nathaniel Chaffee made six saves.
The team also won against Marcus Whitman, 3-0, Wednesday, Oct. 4. Landon Spears had one goal and two assists. Matt Tones and Anthony Condella posted one goal each.

Girls Soccer
The Penn Yan girls soccer team lost to Hornell, 3-2, Thursday, Oct. 5. The girls won against Newark/Lyons, 4-0, Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Tennis
The Penn Yan tennis team lost to Geneva, 4-1, Saturday, Oct. 7. Winning for the team were the second doubles pair of Charlotte Saner and Aubrey Flores.
In the opening round of Class B1 team sectionals, No. 5 Penn Yan defeated No. 12 Waterloo by a score of 5-0. Winning for Penn Yan were singles players Rachael Garvey, Anella Tillman and Natalie Koen. The doubles teams of Amanda Smith/Erin Clancy and Saner/Flores also posted wins.

Golf
The Penn Yan golf team lost to Mynderse 249-267, Monday, Oct. 2. Will Thompson was the medalist with a 44. Colin Johnson shot a 47.

Cross Country
The Penn Yan cross country team ran at the Marcus Whitman Invitational, Saturday, Oct. 7. James Tette was second in the boys race. Anthony Wheeler was 25th. Finn Tette took 36th. In the girls race, Ameina Samultalski finished 11th and Eva Smith was 36th.

Volleyball
The Penn Yan volleyball team won against Dundee, Friday, Oct. 6. The final score was 3-0. Lexie Parsons had four aces, six kills, one block and one dig. Miranda Dunning posted six aces, two kills and two digs. Brooklyn Ayers earned one ace and four kills, while Jenna Reynolds added two aces, one assist and seven digs.
The team lost to Bloomfield, 3-1, Wednesday, Oct. 4.
The Mustangs defeated Waterloo, 3-1, Monday, Oct. 2. Rosslan Force had 15 kills and two blocks. Hailey Trank recorded three aces, six kills, one block, 36 assists and six digs.

Hammondsport
Boys Soccer
The Hammondsport boys soccer team lost to Campbell-Savona, 5-0, Thursday, Oct. 5. The Lakers also fell to Mount Morris, 4-0, and Canisteo-Greenwood, 3-0, last week.

Girls Soccer
The Hammondsport girls soccer team fell to Avoca-Prattsburgh, 7-0, Thursday, Oct. 5. The team also lost to Andover-Whitesville, 3-1, Tuesday, Oct. 3.
The Lakers defeated South Seneca/Romulus, 2-0, Monday, Oct. 2.

Volleyball
The Hammondsport volleyball team fell to Addison, 3-1, Thursday, Oct. 5. The team also lost to Campbell-Savona, 3-0, Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Schuyler Storm
Football
The Schuyler Storm football team lost to Waverly 56-6, Friday, Oct. 6.
Daniel Coston had three carries for 13 yards and one touchdown. Bradley Gillis posted 16 runs for 54 yards and Ryan Willett had 13 for 35 yards.
Quarterback Gavin Lohmeyer was 5-for-17 with 38 yards.
Willett made two catches for 12 yards and Brady Cannon recorded one for 18 yards.
On defense, Alex Holmes led with five tackles. Cannon had two.

Girls Swimming
The Schuyler Storm swim team competed at the Shenendehowa Invitational, Saturday, Oct. 7. The team placed 11th with a score of 102. Alannah Klemann was fourth in the 100 back. Thalia Marquez took sixth in the 200 and 500 free.
The team defeated Southern Cayuga, 54-12, Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Recording wins were the 200 medley relay team, Cara Reynolds (200 free), Kendra Fish (50 free, 100 fly), Emily Melveney (100 free, 100 back), 200 free relay team, Marquez (100 breaststroke) and the 400 free relay team.


Watkins Glen
Boys Soccer
The Watkins Glen boys soccer team beat Newfield, 2-0, Thursday, Oct. 5. Goalie Caleb Bresett recorded his first varsity shutout with 11 saves. The first goal was scored by Aidan Kelly, assisted by Liam Smith. The second goal was scored by Smith, assisted by Christopher Simiele.
The team also won against Odessa-Montour, Monday, Oct. 2. The final score was 2-1. Both goals for Watkins were scored by Michael Purpura. Smith had one assist. Bresett posted 15 saves in the goal.  

Girls Soccer
The Watkins Glen girls soccer team lost to Haverling, 2-1, Saturday, Oct. 7. The loss was the first of the season for Lake Hawks.
Skye Honrath had one goal in the game. Lilly Ameigh made 16 saves in the goal.
"Though we didn’t get the win today, the team played a great game and fought
hard to the end," said Coach Scott Morse. "We knew coming in how good Bath Haverling is and they lived up to it."
Next up is the IAC championship game Saturday, and then sectionals.
The girls defeated Tioga, 9-0, Tuesday, Oct. 3. Skye Honrath led with three goals and one assist. Ava Kelly posted two goals and one assist. Each scoring once were Sasha Honrath, Olivia VanSkiver, Jennifer Gublo and Rachel Vickio. Ameigh made five saves.
The Lake Hawks also won against Campbell-Savona, Monday, Oct. 2. The final score was 5-0. Skye Honrath had three goals and one assist.

Volleyball
The Watkins Glen volleyball team won against Newark Valley, 3-0, Thursday, Oct. 5.

Odessa
Boys Soccer
The Odessa-Montour boys soccer team lost to Tioga, 6-2, Thursday, Oct. 5. The team also fell to Watkins Glen, 2-1, Monday, Oct. 2.

Girls Soccer
The Odessa-Montour girls soccer team fell to Tioga, 1-0, Thursday, Oct. 5. Jackie Mace made nine saves.
The girls tied with Newfield, 1-1, Tuesday, Oct. 3. Leah Antes scored once for the Grizzlies. Paisley Jezeiorski had an assist. Mace made two saves in the goal.

Volleyball
The Odessa-Montour volleyball team fell to Candor and Groton last week. Game scores were 3-0.
