Beer festival features 'best of New York'

WATKINS GLEN--New York state's thriving craft beverage industry will take center stage at the Ticket Galaxy Beer Festival, Saturday, Oct. 20, at Watkins Glen International. Over 40 breweries, distilleries, and cideries will be on hand, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to enjoy a wide array of offerings from throughout the region.
"It's special for us to be able to showcase products that are from right here in New York," said WGI President Michael Printup. "The Ticket Galaxy Beer Festival is such a fun event. Not only do we have fantastic breweries from around the state, but there are plenty of exciting activities for the fans, live music, and the fall décor. There's no better way to celebrate the arrival of fall in the Finger Lakes region than at The Glen."
For many, it's those same activities that have separated the Ticket Galaxy Beer Festival from similar events. With a 32-team cornhole tournament to the stein-holding competitions, there are more than a few options for guests looking to get their competitive fix at America's "Best NASCAR Track."
The event itself is housed in the facility's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup garage, which is heated and packed with regional cuisine, brewery and event merchandise along with a select number of craft beer and distilled spirits for sale, along with the tasting stations.
