Board moves ahead with superintendent search process

DUNDEE--Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Vicky Ramos provided the following update to the community regarding the superintendent search at Dundee, Wednesday, Sept. 1.
"The Dundee board of education would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who participated in the superintendent search process by submitting their feedback through the search survey. The board would also like to thank and acknowledge all the stakeholders who supported the search process by participating on the interview committees. To our: teacher representatives, student representatives, community representatives, clerical representatives, parent representatives, administrative team representatives, CSEA President and Dundee Teacher Co-Presidents, thank you! Your dedication, time and feedback were essential to the board.
The Dundee Board of Education has concluded the committee stakeholder interviews and now will enter into their most difficult stage, the selection of the candidate. The BOE will take the necessary time to make their selection and as soon as the decision has been finalized, the candidate will be announced."
Kelly Houck was the superintendent of Dundee since 2014 and announced in July that she would leave to be the district superintendent of the Greater Southern Tier BOCES.
