Branchport will celebrate Saturday, Dec. 6

BRANCHPORT--The annual Christmas in Branchport celebration will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 this year. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those who visit during the celebration can enjoy the outdoor atmosphere along with several activities, including holiday songs and a community fire pit. Trolley rides around town will be available throughout the day, and a visit from Santa is expected.
Branchport merchants will feature specials during the event, while at the four corners, artists and farmer's market vendors will set up their wares.
The Cub Scouts are returning with their Christmas tree sale this year. The event will also feature a raffles and prizes tent, where items donated by local businesses will be raffled between 2 and 3 p.m. The money raised will be used to promote the event and decorate Branchport for the holidays.
The Branchport Methodist Church will be serving a chili lunch and Christmas cookies. The Modeste Bedient Library and the Branchport/Keuka Park Fire Department will have a variety of activities for the young during the event as well.
