Court adjourns until July in burglary case

DUNDEE—The three Dundee residents charged with breaking into Wise Guys Pizzeria appeared in village court, Wednesday, June 13.
The Yates County Sheriff’s department arrested Zackery T. LaBarr, 19, and Anthony P. Belmonte, 20, both of 6 Union St., and Naythone E. Miller, 18, of 16 Chamber St. The report said the three were arraigned in the Dundee village court, Wednesday, June 6, and remanded to the Yates County Jail on $15,000 cash/$30,000 bond bail.
Deputy Clerk Cheryl Sutherland said LaBarr and Belmonte’s case was adjourned to July 11.  She explained Miller’s attorney waived the case for the youngest defendant to county court.
Investigator Steve Backer said the three men are accused of breaking into Wise Guys, June 5 to 6, and allegedly stealing cash and a safe. He said most of the money and the safe were returned. Wise Guys reports nearly $1,300 was stolen.
