Dundee ready to celebrate holiday season

DUNDEE--The holiday decorations are up, and the village of Dundee will hold its annual Christmas celebration, Saturday, Dec. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is held at the Seneca Street Park and offers many festive holiday activities throughout the night.
One of the highlights of the evening includes an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus, where they greet and take photos with children as well as give out goody bags to each child. In addition to Santa, the Christmas Bear and friends will also be on hand to help celebrate. Christmas music will help enhance the holiday spirit.
Horse and wagon rides will again return this year, and there will be various stations offering food to attendees. Some of the food choices include cookies, hot dogs, fried dough, water chestnuts wrapping in bacon, chili, sausage, coffee and hot chocolate.
Donations by businesses and community members allows for everything at the event to be free.
