Dundee school superintendent survey is online

DUNDEE--After Dundee Superintendent Kelly Houck announced she would be moving to the Greater Southern Tier (GST) Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) as the district superintendent, the search has begun to hire a replacement at Dundee. Dr. Vicky Ramos, Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES district superintendent, will support the school in the hiring process which the board anticipates will be complete by early fall.
According to Ramos, "An important step of a superintendent search process is gathering district and community feedback for the board of education to develop the desired candidate profile. We will be gathering feedback with an online confidential survey. The online superintendent search survey can be accessed from July 26 to Aug. 12, 2021 at www.wflboces.org/dundee. We strongly encourage your participation. Please encourage your colleagues and community members to participate in the survey. Students are welcome to participate in the survey. Your voice matters and your Dundee Board of Education values your feedback."
Additional information on the search process will be posted on the Dundee and W-FL BOCES website at www.wflboces.org/dundee. The website says the position will carry a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 based on professional background and educational experience. It further explains the application deadline is Aug. 13, with interviews occurring in August and the board selecting a candidate in September.
Any questions regarding the superintendent search process should be directed to Dr. Ramos at 315-332-7284.
