Dundee voters approve $18,036,881 Capital Project

DUNDEE—Dundee Central School district voters overwhelmingly approved a $18,036,881 Capital Project, 222 to 68.
The project will provide health and safety improvements including fire alarm control panel and installation of additional smoke and heat detectors in some areas and upgrading the public address system. Heating and ventilation systems, roof replacement over the Iverson wing, work on exterior masonry, driveway and walk area improvements and installation of a six lane all weather track are included.
Ninety percent of the cost of the project will be covered by state aid and the balance by capital reserve funds and other local sources. There will be no increase in the district’s real property tax levy due to the project.
