Festival of Crafts starts Saturday in Hammondsport

HAMMONDSPORT--The 39th annual Festival of Crafts will be held in Hammondsport this weekend, Aug. 17 and 18. The festival takes place on the village square and includes many vendors offering a variety of unique items for sale.
There will be more than 100 quality crafters and artisans including jewelers, potters, photographers, quilters, leatherworkers, floral designers, woodworkers, candle makers, gourmet food items and many other unique crafts.
A free shuttle service will run during the festival allowing patrons to park at either the Curtiss Museum or the Pleasant Valley Wine Company and not have to worry about congestion downtown. Both locations are just outside the village, the museum is located at 8419 State Route 54 and the wine company is at 8260 Pleasant Valley Road.
