The rain totals come from the Northeast Regional Climate Center at Cornell University. Climatologist Jessica Spaccio said July, 2017 was one of the wettest Julys in history.
Some areas in the Southern Tier have now received as much rain through the month of July as they did for the entire year of 2016.
