Lions install new Red Jacket playgroundPENN YAN-Workers at Red Jacket Park Friday, May 12 began the installation of the new playground designed by Parkitects. The $70,000 project drew volunteers over the weekend in celebration of the Lions Club International centennial. Work at Red Jacket Park was mostly completed Saturday, May 13. The "universal design" equipment, shown Monday, May 15, appeals to children of all ages and ability levels including those with special needs.
