Penn Yan demolishes bathhouse

    PENN YAN—The Red Jacket Park bathhouse and changing room have been demolished as part of the Waterfront Park and Trail Improvement project, Wednesday, Nov. 16.
    The village will replace the structure with two new buildings under the improvement plan.  The village expects the two new buildings to be complete by the spring.  The total project is being paid partially by a $300,000 grant which includes upgrades to the Keuka Outlet Trail as a whole.
    The Outlet Trail will also be paved in the village under the project.  Work at Red Jacket Park includes adding a new entrance and more parking.  Bids to do the work were accepted by the village in May.
