PHOTO GALLERY: Grand Prix Festival celebrates 25 years

WATKINS GLEN--The Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival celebrated 25 years of commemorating the street racing era of motorsports, Friday, Sept. 7. Franklin Street was filled with spectators before the race was reenacted, and then they lined the streets taking photos of the race cars as they passed.
The events in the village corresponded with on-track action at Watkins Glen International over the weekend. Cars from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association were on display and driven through Watkins.
