Seneca Indians lose to Susquehanna Valley

WATKINS GLEN (9/12/16)-The combined Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour Seneca Indians football team lost their home opener against Susquehanna Valley, Saturday, Sept. 10. The Seneca Indians were down 14-0 at halftime, with the final score being 26-0 after Susquehanna Valley put up 12 points in the fourth quarter.
On the ground, the Seneca Indians were led by Ryan Pruitt with 59 yards on 17 carries. Zach Elliott had 27 yards with 12 attempts, while Joe Chedzoy recorded 13 yards on seven plays. Pruitt also had two receptions for 13 yards.
At quarterback, Jacob Kelly was 3-for-6 passing with 17 yards. The Seneca Indians had 99 yards of total offense.
Pruitt, Jordan Dillenbeck, Kameryn Sheldon and Sean Kelly all had five solo tackles on defense for the game.
Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour moves to 0-2 on the season as they prepare for Candor/Spencer-Van Etten this Friday. The away game will be played at Candor at 7 p.m.
