Officials plan another downtown workshop

WATKINS GLEN--The next public workshop for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 13. The meeting will be held at the Watkins Glen Community Center, on Boat Launch Road from 6-8 p.m.
This is the second meeting planned to discuss possibilities and potential for the downtown area of Watkins Glen. In the summer, Watkins Glen was one of the state's areas selected to receive a $10 million grant for future projects and improvement of the downtown area. The purpose of this interactive workshop is to get input from the public on potential DRI projects as well as comments about the vision for Watkins Glen.
