Police arrest fourth person in burglaries

PENN YAN—Brielle C. Vanderwall, 21, was arrested by Yates County deputies Thursday, Nov. 7, in connection to a recent string of burglaries in the towns of Milo, Starkey and Benton, along with the villages of Dundee and Penn Yan. According to the incident report, Vanderwall was arrested at 227 Main St. in the village of Penn Yan at 2 p.m.
Vanderwall was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, for taking items from a Baldwin Road address. She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the town of Benton court Dec. 3.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Department also arrested Gerald H. Schultz, 19, Nathaniel W. Hillyard, 18, and Cameron A. Vanderwall, 19, on burglary and possession of stolen property charges Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected to be made.
