Sheriff arrests Odessa men on drug charges

CATHARINE--Two Odessa residents were arrested following a drug investigation last week. Eric J. Storm, 43, and Robert A. Stevens, 22, both of Odessa, were arrested by the Schuyler County Sheriff's Department following the seizure of several materials used in the production of methamphetamine.
The Schuyler County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on County Route 14 in the town of Catharine Wednesday, March 16, for a reported disturbance at that location. Responding deputies discovered materials that are used in the production of methamphetamine. The sheriff's office arrested Storm and Stevens for unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D felony.
The two were arraigned and remanded to jail in lieu of $5,000/$10,000 bail/bond. The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the New York State Police, Odessa Fire Department and Schuyler Ambulance.
