Wine, food festival set for Saturday

WATKINS GLEN--Seneca Lake Wine and Food will celebrate the best the Seneca Lake area has to offer, Saturday, May 20 at Clute Park in Watkins Glen. There will be over 200 wines to choose from, along with food vendors, live music and waterfront views.
Gates open at 11 a.m.
Tickets are $35 at the door and designated driver tickets are $15. Tickets are also available online.
Wine only tickets include free wine tastings and a souvenir glass. Food samples can be purchased from vendors for $1. Also included this year, a one day (Sunday, May 21 only) pass to visit participating winery tasting rooms and receive a complimentary tasting.
Designated driver tickets include free water or soda.
Parking at the event site is limited and the cost is $8 per vehicle. However, there is free satellite parking and a shuttle service available. Park at the Watkins Glen high school which is located at 301 12th St., Watkins Glen, and a shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
